For companies that send people into homes

Your people walk into strangers' homes every day.

Vouch. screens the customer before anyone knocks, tracks every visit while it happens, and alerts an emergency contact the moment a check-in is missed.

Owners see check-ins and status — never a live map of their crew. Location leaves a worker's phone for one reason: a safety escalation sends last-known position to the designated emergency contact. Trails on finished visits are deleted after 30 days.

Sample data — what the board looks like mid-shift

You dispatch someone to an address you got from an online form, and the next thing you hear is whether she made it out. Most companies handle that with a group chat and hope.

01Screen

Know who booked — before anyone knocks.

Type a name and phone number. Vouch runs phone-line intelligence, fraud reputation, email checks, and criminal & sex-offender record searches where your state allows — silently, in seconds. The customer is never texted, emailed, or asked for anything.

  • full screening $7 flat · basic tier free
  • records matched by name + DOB + state — a name-only hit says so, never auto-rejected
  • cross-company client reviews on the same phone number
02Monitor

Every visit on one live board.

Arrival is detected by geofence or one tap. From there the clock runs: who's on site, how long, who checked in safe — across your whole roster. Workers get a duress PIN that raises a silent alarm while the screen plays dumb.

  • live company board — alerts and overdue pinned on top
  • background tracking that survives a locked phone
  • lost location access shows a red banner and the fix, on the worker's screen
  • duress PIN · SOS button · guardian live-share links
03Escalate

Missed check-ins don't wait for Monday.

A worker who doesn't confirm they're safe inside the check-in window triggers an alert to their emergency contact — with live location and an acknowledgment link. Unacknowledged alerts escalate to the backup contact automatically.

  • text + email escalation with live location
  • acknowledgment loop · automatic backup-contact fallback
  • if no channel reaches the contact, the screen tells the worker to call 911

Built for the companies…

Residential cleaning

Crews in a different stranger's house every few hours.

Screen new bookings before dispatch, watch every job on the board, and hand each cleaner a check-in clock, a duress PIN, and an escalation path their emergency contact can act on. Owners schedule for the whole team; crews check in per worker.

Home care · mobile IV & nursing

Clinicians alone, at night, in unfamiliar homes.

Know who requested the infusion before a nurse is assigned. Long visits get overtime check-ins instead of silence; a missed one escalates with the clinician's live location — automatically, not when someone notices the group chat.

…and the people working alone.

Everything above works for a team of one. Solo providers run the same screening, the same tracking, the same escalation — plus booking pages and payments.

Straight answers

Does the person being screened find out?

No. Screenings run silently on the details you enter — the customer is never texted, emailed, or asked for anything.

Is this a background-check company? Is it FCRA?

No. Vouch runs informational, non-FCRA searches of public records and phone intelligence for personal-safety awareness. Possible matches are shown with their match basis labeled and never auto-reject anyone — and it must not be used for employment, credit, or tenancy decisions.

What does it cost?

Working alone is free — every safety feature, no time limit. Teams are $39/month for up to 5 people, $79 up to 15, $149 up to 30. Monthly, no contract. Customer screening is separate: basic is free, a full record search is $7, and you only pay for the ones you run. Pilot teams get their first three months free.

What happens if a worker's phone dies or loses signal mid-visit?

The check-in clock runs on our servers, not the phone. A missed check-in escalates to the emergency contact with the last known location, and location captured offline syncs when signal returns.

iPhone or Android?

iPhone today; Android is on the roadmap. The owner's live board also works from the web dashboard.
