A worker who doesn't confirm they're safe inside the check-in window triggers an alert to their emergency contact — with live location and an acknowledgment link. Unacknowledged alerts escalate to the backup contact automatically.

The check-in clock runs on our servers, not the phone. A missed check-in escalates to the emergency contact with the last known location, and location captured offline syncs when signal returns.
